Tina Izadi

Tina brings over thirteen (13) years of litigation experience to the firm. Tina has handled a diverse array of civil litigation in federal and state district and appellate courts, and also has appeared before various administrative courts. Tina’s solid litigation experience centers primarily in the employment and civil rights fields, where she has developed a reputation for being a strong advocate and a persuasive writer.

Tina also has served in the capacity of general counsel and therefore has a wealth of experience to draw upon to assist employers in identifying, troubleshooting, and solving problems while minimizing any potential risk. Her background with mental health makes Tina an especially excellent resource for employers addressing mental health issues in the workplace.

Examples of the services she provides include:

  • Representing employers in proceedings before the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission, the Texas Workforce Commission, the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S., Oklahoma, and Texas Departments of Labor, and the Oklahoma and Texas state and federal courts;

  • Advising management on how to handle employment- and business-related concerns in the workplace;

  • Drafting and reviewing leases, contracts, and other documents key to protecting her clients’ business interests;

  • Conducting audits, investigations, and providing hands-on training on employment practices, compliance and employee relations issues; and

  • Representing businesses in general business and civil litigation matters.

Tina was honored with the Golden Quill award from the Oklahoma Bar Association for the best article published in the Oklahoma Bar Journal in 2005. She also received the Golden Gavel award for her leadership of the Law Day Committee. She also has been recognized by the Oklahoma Bar Association for her leadership in law.

Tina is active in serving the legal community and the community at large. She currently serves on the Oklahoma Lawyers Association Board. She has served on numerous Boards, including Phi Upsilon House Corporation Board; Oklahoma Appleseed Center for Law & Justice; Oklahoma Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division; Oklahoma County Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division. Tina served as the Chair of the Law Day Committee for the Oklahoma Bar Association, a statewide committee charged with celebrating Law Day by educating the public about the law and the work lawyers perform. As Chair of the committee, Tina coordinated and organized statewide efforts to celebrate Law Day; organized, coordinated, and assisted in the production of an annual TV show, Ask-A-Lawyer, which aired on OETA on Law Day; and coordinated efforts on a statewide level for lawyers to provide free legal advice on Law Day. She held this post for four (4) years.

Tina is a supporter of various causes, including the Oklahoma Children’s Cancer Center and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, for which she has run several half-marathons and donated her time in service.

Tina is admitted to practice law in in both Oklahoma and Texas courts. She also is admitted to U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Tenth and Fifth Circuits.

Tina is from Duncan, Oklahoma, is a season-ticket holder for OSU football, and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
